One Blazer Two Ways

Layering is the key to feeling and looking great this fall, and there is no easier way to layer than with a flawlessly fitted blazer. As the weather begins to transition from warm to cool, very few pieces in our wardrobes compare to an exceptional blazer that is so wearable and fashionable all at the same time.  A blazer that is styled specifically to your body type can hide flaws, accentuate your good features, and suit its purpose of keeping you comfortable on cooler days as well as perfectly appropriate for any occasion.
My Jeans are by American Eagle find them HERE.
These burgundy booties are quickly becoming my favorite go-to shoe this fall. This color is a key tone this season and I love wearing these little pieces of fabulous footwear with everything. These booties are by Jessica Simpson, find similar styles HEREHERE and HERE.
My necklace and earrings(similar HERE and HERE) are both by Forever 21.

This necklace is Kendra Scott, my Belt is Burberry, and my clutch is from Francesca's.
If you took a peek inside my shoe closet you would definitely see that I am a Vince Camuto boot junkie. When it comes to genuine leather boots and shoes, I personally haven't found a brand I like better than this one. Most of their shoes fall in the $150 - $400 price range, and for a first-rate pair of boots that have lasted me 3 years now, I think that's a fantastic deal. Find similar styles HERE and HERE. Or shop all of this season's styles by Vince Camuto  HERE.
The blazer I featured in today's post is a wardrobe favorite I picked up at Forever 21 last fall season, and it happens to still be treating me well one year later. If you'd like to see similar styles that you can rock this autumn you can find a few fab blazers available for purchase via Polyvore by clicking on the picture or the thumbnails below.

Fall Fashion Trends 2014: My Personal Favorites

With a new crisp season comes fresh new trends; and the ones showing up this autumn really pack a fabulous fashion punch. Full of  aesthetic pieces that flatter every figure, you are sure to find a trend to feel spectacular in this fall. Staying on trend this year appears not only to be effortlessly chic, but absolutely enjoyable as bold leathers are paired with traditional plaids, tonal grays are dexterously layered, a new dark neutral becomes a daily favorite, sophisticated style goes equestrian, and pops of camo print add to anyone's apparel.
The street style fashion that has been donned so far this season has shown us that everyone can find a little something they will love strutting their stuff in as the leaves change and we all consume a ridiculous amount of delicious pumpkin everything.
My Favorite Fall Trends 2014

Two iconic fall favorites are united together this season to created the sleekest biker babe look I've seen in years. Layered with deep-toned classic plaids, motto leathers take on cultivated cuts making this trend appropriate enough for office attire yet sassy enough to speak to your inner wild child.

Fall Essentials: Motto + Plaid

Being from the South, I am not a stranger to camo print, and I usually shy away as it always feels overdone; but this season, it's back and it's more dapper than ever. Seen in staple pieces this autumn, a simple pair of camo skinnies or a traditionalized patterned jacket is all you need to be on trend. If appareled camo is just too much for you, camo accessories are being used in place of color popping embellishments this fall.
Fall Essentials: Camo Makes a Come Back

This season, black has taken a back seat to it's polished younger sister navy. It's deeply resonant tinge brings established attire to life and adds a full-toned refinement to even that of the most casual of looks.
Fall Essentials: Navy - The New Black

This well-bred ensemble proves time-honored  elegance is always on trend. Set with smokey camel hues and gold metaled hardware, the look of equestrian sophistication is unquestionably being craved this season.
Fall Essentials: Equestrian

Tonal grays mingled with richly textured fabrics bring a soft and timeless look to the 2014 fall trends. Classically styled with quintessential pieces, layering smooth grays is a trend that will keep you looking swank all autumn (and winter) long.
