A Fall Favorite: The Sweater Dress

I'm all about cozy and comfy this time of year and an adorable little sweater dress does just that. I feel like I can throw this dress on, look cute, and feel comfortable all day long with little thought or effort; I have to say, that's my favorite kind of fashion combo.
I couldn't resist the chance to show a little boot sock. These are a favorite pair of mine that I found at Marshall's last year. They are seriously the softest socks ever created. Ever. They should have similar ones in stock this year, so if you become a total sock fanatic in the winter months like I do, run (don't walk,) to Marshall's.
My Boots are by Vince Camuto (no surprises there.) I found them last year, and they are still serving me so well. I can't sing the praises of Vince Camuto boots enough. The quality surpasses any other brand I've worn within their price range. If you want a shoe that you can wear all fall and winter long, and still have it looking new the next time those wonderful seasons roll around, then this is the brand for you too.
My neutral clutch is from Charming Charlie's.
These earrings are the Reverie Chandeliers by Stella and Dot. You can purchase them from my personal Stella and Dot sight HERE.

This darling little dress is from Francesca's. This season, Francesca's has taken boutique chic to a whole new level. They have a wonderful selection of little numbers just like this one, so if you want a sweater dress of your very own, I'd definitely make Francesca's my first stop. And Happy Fall Y'all!

One Blazer Two Ways

Layering is the key to feeling and looking great this fall, and there is no easier way to layer than with a flawlessly fitted blazer. As the weather begins to transition from warm to cool, very few pieces in our wardrobes compare to an exceptional blazer that is so wearable and fashionable all at the same time.  A blazer that is styled specifically to your body type can hide flaws, accentuate your good features, and suit its purpose of keeping you comfortable on cooler days as well as perfectly appropriate for any occasion.
My Jeans are by American Eagle find them HERE.
These burgundy booties are quickly becoming my favorite go-to shoe this fall. This color is a key tone this season and I love wearing these little pieces of fabulous footwear with everything. These booties are by Jessica Simpson, find similar styles HEREHERE and HERE.
My necklace and earrings(similar HERE and HERE) are both by Forever 21.

This necklace is Kendra Scott, my Belt is Burberry, and my clutch is from Francesca's.
If you took a peek inside my shoe closet you would definitely see that I am a Vince Camuto boot junkie. When it comes to genuine leather boots and shoes, I personally haven't found a brand I like better than this one. Most of their shoes fall in the $150 - $400 price range, and for a first-rate pair of boots that have lasted me 3 years now, I think that's a fantastic deal. Find similar styles HERE and HERE. Or shop all of this season's styles by Vince Camuto  HERE.
The blazer I featured in today's post is a wardrobe favorite I picked up at Forever 21 last fall season, and it happens to still be treating me well one year later. If you'd like to see similar styles that you can rock this autumn you can find a few fab blazers available for purchase via Polyvore by clicking on the picture or the thumbnails below.

This dress is also from Forever 21. Find Similar styles HERE and HERE.

South of The Border...In South Carolina

What would a road trip be without a few stops at some crazy road-side tourist attractions.
Just south of the North Carolina border lies a peculiar road side stop that takes on a bright and colorful Mexican theme.  When I saw the signs advertising this place along the highway (quite conspicuously might I add, seeing as the billboards start almost 60 miles before you get to this place,) I had to check it out. .
This place is full of restaurants, souvenir shops, and a overabundance of giant signs emulating the vivid theme.
Being the blogger I am, I couldn't miss out on an a perfectly good opportunity for a photo op.

They had the coolest vintage inspired ice cream shop there.

The first thing you will notice if you ever visit this place, is all the crazy statues they have sitting in the middle of all the parking lots, in front of all the shops and restaurants, basically everywhere.
I couldn't resist these adorable bright blue and white animals.
My blue cropped top is from Forever 21
My shoes are Vince Camuto.
These colorful and fun shorts are from Francesca's.
 Thanks for stopping by today!
If you ever find yourself South of the Border (the North Carolina border that is,) stop by and explore this quirky little place. I can ensure it to be an amusing little distraction from a long road trip.
